This post has images! If they do not show up for you, please click through! Hi ho everyone! Just two things today because I have a LOT of tasks to do before my spicy meatball of a toddler comes home! ONE I have expanded my journey back into traditional media. I picked up some ink and nibs at a local art store the other day (Artists Emporium--shoutout because I love that store dearly) and let me tell you I am ENAMOURED. I have found my favourite medium! Every other medium I try frustrates me too much, but ink is fast, it's easy setup and cleanup, and it's almost identical to my digital cartooning process so the transfer was seamless. I've been doing it a couple times a week on stream, and I'm going to try to make it a regular Tuesday afternoon/Thursday night thing, if you care to pop in from time to time. You will be able to play them back on my Twitch channel for a week after broadcast, and then I'll have all the archives up on my Patreon after that even though I am LOATHE to have a record of my stupid distracted ramblings. She used to try to steal sips of my coffee every morning as well, but then she actually got a taste and that kinda ended that for the most part. She'll still try to thief some foam from time to time though. The morning I drew this one, she refused to touch her breakfast until I bribed her by telling her we could make a coffee together while she ate her oatmeal. Her favourite steps are tamping the espresso, and asking if it's hot and if it's coffee 600 times in a row. Anyway it's really cute and I just kinda wanted to capture it. That's my beefy babe! I've had a number of people send me photos of their successful meals and I haven't heard anyone say they've struggled with anything yet, so I consider that a massive win! FRAPPUCCINO INGREDIENTS 1 tbsp instant coffee(or more if you want)1 tbsp sugar(or more (or less) if you want)1/2 cup milk of your choice1 cup iceA LEETLE PEENCH of xanthan gum DIRECTIONS Chuck it all in a blender. Xanthan gum is found in the baking aisle and is most often used by home cooks as a thickener in vegan and gluten-free recipes, but it’s also a great stabilizer and you can use it in sauces and make bougie foams and stuff like that.
