Ahoy there sailors! It’s been a hot minute–things have been absolutely bonkers the last few months and so many of the pieces I’ve been working on have been client work that I can’t share yet, so it’s been tough to do an art roundup these days haha! I’ll do a quick update though regardless, because I do have some important stuff to share!
- Very important. I don’t think it’s possible to have missed it on my site with all the alerts I have set up but there is a Canada Post strike happening right now and so I cannot ship anything out to you at this time. If you can do local pickup, please place your orders by December 8th to guarantee that I will be able to drop it off at my pickup location in time for Christmas. I assume Little Tree Hugger will be open on the 20th for sure, and probably the 21st, but they likely will not be open for pickup later than that as they are closed Mondays. We also need to take into account the small chance that I don’t have it in stock and need to make a print order.
- I’ve opened a Threadless shop! I’m going to make a separate post about all that later because you should all buy the dumbest shirts in the world, but for those of you emailing me to ask if I will be able to have those for you to pick up by Christmas, the answer is no! 🙂 Threadless is a third party print-to-order company in the States. I do not have hundreds of T-shirts and sweaters in 30 colours and styles or a printer for apparel in my tiny little office lmao. I don’t know who they ship with. Sorry everyone!
- I just had an EXCELLENT time at the Wolseley Winter Farmers Market this weekend, and I have three more events I’m tabling at this season!! It’s your best bet to nab something from me before Christmas.

LOOK AT MY NEW STUFF
I’m really in love with this one actually. If you are looking for a gift to give the new parents, teachers, or general wildlife or alphabet enthusiasts in your life, I have a bunch of these printed out and ready to go!! They are ALL species native to Manitoba, but general enough to be relevant to a good swath of North America in general. I did my best to get something for all the letters but let’s be honest, some letters are easier than others. Anyway I’m real happy with it and the prints look great.
I have some fun new stickers (see: Moo Deng AKA the screaming pot roast) as well as all of the ones we’ve already agreed are great (lookin’ at you, glizzy pigeon).
The rat martini one is a fun story actually. If you don’t already follow me on Bluesky, please do! A delightful science journalist by the name of Bethany Brookshire contacted me there and asked me if I’d design a “Rattini” to put up on my Threadless account. In her words:
Rattini contains more than 160 species of “rats”, it’s the “tribe” which is the taxonomic label between a family and a genus when taxonomists have no idea what’s going on. Obviously it needs to be a drink.
Anyway you can get it as a sticker in my shop/in person or as a shirt through Threadless now! It’s great I love it. Look at his stupid little face.
Speaking of Glizzy Pigeon… I’ve also been learning 3D modeling in my spare time lately, which has been very fun, because my partner Matt has a 3D printer upstairs and he’s been printing my creations for me which makes me feel like a GOD. a GOD AMONG MEN.
Behold, my heavenly creations!!!
Okay the rest of this is all pretty miscellaneous.
I met Dustin Byfuglien of former Winnipeg Jets glory (I will actually have a few of these discontinued prints at my markets for a limited time since I had to print one for myself ANYWAY) and it was great.
I’m discontinuing a bunch of prints, so they’re only going to be available for a short time. A few highways, all my East Coast tourism posters–I might have a couple handy but there will also be some in the mystery packs I have at my table, as well as my Winnipeg holiday postcards, which I will be fully discontinuing after this year.
Also, idk. I’ve gotten really into making up dumb fake fish. Have a Hollow Ghostfish to see you off.
…And some House Hippo Moo Dengs, for no good reason at all.
Thanks for reading you’re the best hope to see you at a market this season I really really need people to show up to markets with online sales almost nothing because of the strike okay love you mucho byeeeee!!!
I love to share my art and comics, and I’m extremely blessed to be able to do it full-time as a career, in part due to readers like you! If you would like to support my work, please consider sharing with a friend, nabbing a print, buying me a coffee, or subscribing to my Patreon for as little as $1 a month!
