1. Nicky and a bunch of the boys also trapped me in a heckling circle and when I pushed my way out Nicky lied and said I punched him and pretended to cry in order to give everyone more excuses to heckle me and upon reflection he was not very good at bullying and I should have actually punched him it would have been awesome.
2. It’s ok, Mme. Lendevay was real old in 1998 so she’s almost certainly dead now.
I may have mentioned this before, but I made my French teacher cry. She overheard me saying that I didn’t want to take French in seventh grade. She started bawling at her desk.
I had to apologize to her in front of everyone the next day.
The wild thing in retrospect is that it wasn’t an attack on her, but an expression of frustration with the language. Today, I’m surprised at how much I retained. I was never fluent, but I picked up a lot of words.
haha oh my god that’s such an insane thing to do to a TWELVE YEAR OLD. i had a couple teachers who took things super personally like this too. just wild.
