Hi hello everyone! Hope you are all having a modest Tuesday!
Matt’s had some evening commitments lately so that means I’ve been covering bedtimes more often this week. This kid is a goddamn menace. born to entertain. we don’t call her the hambaby for nothin’!
Some shenanigans from last night:
-diving headfirst into her laundry hamper, yelling “MY BED! I SWEEPING!” and trying to pull her stuffies and blanket into her den of dirty clothes, complete with fake snoring
-planking on the arms of the rocking chair
-mid-bedtime story “i wan look outside. i wanna be sad” [cue trying VERY hard to look forlorn while simultaneously yelling about every car that drives by]
-half-filled a jug with water in the bath, placed a little ball inside it, draped a wet washcloth overtop, and leaned over it to shriek “I KEEP YOU SAFE. I KEEP YOU SAFE. I KEEP YOU SAFE” over and over for a full two minutes, with growing intensity, up to mildly alarming levels of enthusiasm.
