Alex Plante is a multi-disciplinary artist based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. I’ve been painting and illustrating digitally for over 20 years, but I also write/draw comics and paint the occasional mural. If I had to describe myself in three short phrases, I would say: Villainous laugh. Brimming with hubris. Eagerly awaiting riches and fame.

I like small potatoes but big potatoes are better, so I’m always looking for new challenges and ways to expand my skills. Feel free to reach out! Especially if iced coffee is involved. Someday I want to be like the big blueberry girl from Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory but with iced coffee. Just a big ol’ round fleshbag full of it. Roll me around, I don’t give a care.

WPRFM returns to the Victoria Inn for our annual spring market. This year, we’re doing the whole weekend, with more than 140 vendors over two days! We’re also super excited to bring back our kids’ art area, run by Kisa MacIsaac, plus new community share areas - a free clothing swap in partnership with Trans Health Klinic and community mending station, run by Reclaim Mending!

We’ll also be bumping your favourite tunes all day, with DJs Mod Marty and Catherine, Chel (Fold Paper), J-Rod and Sleeping Climb! Plus special guests from WPW (Saturday only)!

And we’re continuing our low sensory quiet hour from 5:00-6:00PM both days.

NOTE: I will only be there on Saturday so don't come lookin for me on Sunday! You'll be DISAPPOINTED (and probably still have a good time shopping with the Sunday vendors regardless but I WON'T BE THERE)
