HI EVERYONE!

So I’ve been a busy busy bee this winter, and things have been going well! Last year I was awarded a grant to write and draw a graphic novel, and I’ve been assured by my award-winning and award-losing friends in comics that it is, in fact, GOOD. So that’s been fun, though as it turns out, writing a book that you also have to DRAW is kind of hard. Huh! But the aim is to be done sometime in the next few months, and then I suppose I will have to decide on what to do with it after that, but when time comes to talk about it, I promise I will talk about it so much that you will be begging me to shut up for once in my life.

ALSO. MARKET SEASON IS UPON US!

Upcoming Events!

First market of 2025!

WHADDUP! I’m gonna be at the Winnipeg Punk Rock Flea Market on SATURDAY, APRIL 5 ONLY from 11:30-6. It’s going to be a super fun time!

From the WPRFM website:

This year, we’re doing the whole weekend, with more than 140 vendors over two days! We’re also super excited to bring back our kids’ art area, run by Kisa MacIsaac, plus new community share areas – a free clothing swap in partnership with Trans Health Klinic and community mending station, run by Reclaim Mending!

We’ll also be bumping your favourite tunes all day, with DJs Mod Marty and Catherine, Chel (Fold Paper), J-Rod and Sleeping Climb! Plus special guests from WPW (Saturday only)!

And we’re continuing our low sensory quiet hour from 5:00-6:00PM both days.

Don’t come lookin for me on Sunday! You’ll be DISAPPOINTED (and probably still have a good time shopping with the Sunday vendors regardless but I WON’T BE THERE)

NEW STICKERS!

I drew some geese and I’m gonna have these at my table!! You can put em on your water bottles or ipad case or something now. They’re very serious and not dumb at all, I promise. Also, up until now, I’ve been using StickerApp for my stickers, which I’ve really liked a lot and I still felt okay using them to order those holographic angel geese as they’re a Swedish company (despite having a US presence), but for my regular vinyl stickers I’ve started using a Canadian company called Jukebox Print and they are actually SO nice?? Really gorgeous colours, really nice sturdy feel… AND they’re Canadian. They’re not really any more expensive, so I think going forward unless something changes, I will be sticking with them goddammit I didn’t mean to make that pun!

I will also have a number of Mystery Packs at my table as well! In each one is an assortment of retired prints, as well as a smattering of the current lineup!

Speaking of retired prints, I’m officially retiring my larger Winnipeg Simpsons prints. I’ll be keeping them on as postcards, but I only have a handful of the 11”x14” prints left after dropping off a few at Forks Trading Co. and I won’t be re-ordering them again! I believe there are also a few at Made Here, and a couple of my mystery packs may have one too! BUT THAT’S IT! BUY NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE!

Okay that’s it! I’m almost certainly forgetting something important but look there are only so many hours in a day and I’ve hit the allotted time limit cutoff for this task so LOVE YOU BYE!

I love to share my art and comics, and I’m extremely blessed to be able to do it full-time as a career, in part due to readers like you!
