i’m sick this week so this is what you get

Ahoy hoy! Normally I have a couple weeks lined up as a buffer but it’s been pretty busy lately and quite honestly I’ve been hanging on by a thread, which has all culminated in me being pretty burnt out and run down and catching that wicked cold that’s been going around while my gremlin child cuts FOUR TEETH AT ONCE. So… this week you get a self portrait, a couple of Benjamos, and some cats that fit my vibe. I think it’s still a good little collection of drawings.

It’s been taking me a while to find Benjamo’s voice/personality and match it to the page and I think I’m getting a lot closer. I’ve been looking for the words to describe this specific look he has on his face all the time and a friend said “Benjo always looks like he just hid a body” and I truly could not put it better myself.
